Sample Class Topic: Better Decisions under Risk and Uncertainty 

Synopsis:
Randomness and uncertainty play an important role in the success of many business ventures. Therefore, it is critical for modern managers to know how to make good decisions in uncertain business environments.

The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program includes two core courses in decision science, which expose participants to fundamental concepts for understanding and handling risk and uncertainty. In this sample class, you will obtain a first glimpse of such concepts with applications to business and finance. In particular, you will experience a sample of the Kellogg-HKUST teaching philosophy with its focus on relevant applications.
