Topic

Climate-financial Risks

Synopsis

Climate change has become a material financial risk for companies across industries. Physical risks such as extreme weather and supply-chain disruptions affect assets, operations, and revenues. Transition risks from regulation, technology shifts, and changing market expectations influence costs, valuations, and access to capital. For executives, the challenge is to translate these risks into financial impacts and strategic choices, integrating climate considerations into investment decisions, risk management, and long-term value creation.
